In 2012, we designed and manufactured winches for the Stella active acoustic systems by Meyer Sound. This speaker is designed to create an active point in a virtual acoustics environment. With our winches, this point can now be dynamic. For the first time in the world, a unique variable-geometry virtual acoustics system was installed with our participation in the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music.
The winch for the acoustic system simultaneously handles a steel support cable and a multi-core cable for powering and connecting the signal line to the acoustic system. We developed a unique paired cable management system with run-off compensation, recognized as an invention and protected by a patent. Integration with the D-Mitri system is facilitated through a software gateway, enabling a unified control panel for winches within a single software environment.
